Good good news!!

Just to let you know I did get the job and have my induction tomorrow and Thursday, then into the shop Friday to stock it up!

Sorry not blogged for a long time, not been doing any crafting, just not in the mood, hoping that will change once things settle down.

Good news.......

Just wanted to share some news with you all. I had applied for a job at Hobbycraft, a new shop is opening up near me. Had a call today, I have an interview on Monday!! I am really excited and a little nervous too. It would be a great job to have so fingers crossed.

Craftbubble, Lets get stamping sketchie

Here is my card for this sketchie. I enjoyed making the card and it was good to be crafting again. I made this for Katherine who got into Cardiff Uni. I actually had to give it to her twice as I had forgot the flowers the first time! lol

Mojo coming back!

Finally feel like making cards again. I think because I had to put my things away it seems harder to get back into it. Going to be doing a sketchie today, so watch this space!

Some good news! Katherine, my daughter, got into Cardiff Uni!! I am so proud of her, she has worked really hard to get the place. Will miss her, but I am so excited for her too. Just have to wait until this Thursday to find out how Fiona has done on her GCSE. fingers crossed.

Willow Challenge

Here is my card for the Willow challenge. The background I made using my promarkers and some wavy lines, also the card the image is layered onto, was made by colouring card and going over it a few times so the colours goes through. Then I used the wrong side. I quite like the effect. It shows up more on darker colours as in the first card I made, unfortunately I forgot to use a willow image, but I will put a pic up so you can see. I am really enjoying making my own backgrounds, especially using the promarkers.
